How Spit Spot Works
Spit Spot is owned and operated by sisters working from the perspective of mothers to help our customers with the task of juggling their hectic lives – just as we have needed help juggling ours. Lisa is the mother of two originally from the Roland Park area now living in Leesburg, VA., while Kim is the mother of one from the Timonium area.
We are striving to create a successful service that is enjoyed by all who use it. For us, quality is of the utmost importance because we know the value of our customers. Without you, Spit Spot would be nothing so we always want you to be happy. We also recognize the value of the dollar and understand that customer service today is not always where it could be. With the three goals of Quality, Price and Customer Service, we began the search for a cleaner to support us.
After trying out several suppliers, we have settled on a cleaner in Security. Why would we drive all the way to Security? The answer is easy – QUALITY. Over and over we found their product to be superior to what we could find in our neighborhoods. Additionally, they provide us the ability to expand our offerings to include Same and Next Day Service as well as Wash and Fold - what could be better than dumping your hamper and having it returned all clean!
From the price perspective, we found that they were willing to look at the data we had collected from other cleaners, understood that pricing can vary wildly in this industry, and was willing to beat all of the averages that we asked them to. “Free” is hard to quantify, but by beating the average walk in store prices, we feel we are able to add the delivery service for “free”.
Finally, with Customer Service being one of our biggest goals we have found that our chosen dry cleaner understands different items are important to different people. We have set up a process with them where Kim examines all clothing before it is cleaned and then again after it is cleaned, to the extent possible, to ensure that spots are removed and the quality is to the standard we expect. If she should unfortunately miss something, she will gladly return it to be reworked. As our customer, Kim is your advocate daily and we believe our finished product shows it!
Of course, making a claim like this is empty unless we deliver. So, we encourage you to use the $15 Activation Credit we are offering to give us a try. If you are not happy, there is no reason to continue with us. However, if you are…your life may have just gotten a little easier and that would say we have done our job!
